Araucana thread anyone?

We live in Indianapolis, Indiana, within the city limits. Out of the 3 chicks we got from hatching eggs, one is laying and two are crowing. Need to sell one. The one I need to sell has similar coloring as yours, but without the tail.
PM me soon if you're interested.

Thanks for the offer mate, but it is almost impossible to import chickens into Australia.

Yes. I know this that's why I said I would pay for overnight shipping. And actually I had my day old chicks shipped regular priority mail from mcmurray and they were fine. I realize that if I purchased from a forum member they wouldn't be day old chicks and they would need to be over-nighted. None of this matters however, as I am driving to Ohio to purchase several from coberdor...(thank you very much, by the way I'll see you Tuesday around 930-1000 am)
Carmen got her first Araucana's from me. Ake her about the splash rooster from me, he was awesome

One of my young roos, and some of the Lavender girls. (Australian standard of course.)
Beautiful birds as always, Ash... lovely boy, he looks Birchen... wish that was in our standard, lol...

Yours looks to have a Silver Duckwing base, did he come from mixed colors?

I think you're right. He's from Burns Lake hatching eggs so we never saw his parents. He was the most beautiful light chick, we've been surprised as the dark coloring has emerged. He keeps getting more and more beautiful as he gets older.

Hi everyone! I'm just jumping in here because soon (hopefully) I will be an Araucana mommy. I purchased some hatching eggs and while most were not fertilized, a few were. I currently have two in lockdown and it is day 19. They are moving inside the eggs and it looks like they've internally pipped but I don't hear any peeping. I am so nervous! Wish us good luck!
