Araucana thread anyone?

Great! Thank you. We are not currently npip certified but looking into it for spring next year. I'm hoping to do a Lot more hatching then and may have some extra to share. In the present if we come across a nice bird or two to add some new lines to our flock would be wonderful.

I have a little black araucana and she had very few feathers when I got her although she is of laying age she has nice green eggs almost everyday. she is a little skittish around my other chickens. they said That the rooster picked all the chicken's feathers out but I'm not really sure because it looks like somebody took scissors to her feathers. her neck was naked her back was naked her chest and bum was naked. she is finally growing feathers on her back and her neck and everywhere else and she has one little feather poking out of her bum it looks funny but she is very sweet she follows me around and I spoil all 6 of my chickens and of my two black stars that were supposed to be roosters one is and one isn't. Here is a picture of my little araucana

she is the black one the tan one was also from that ranch that I picked up my araucana from and she was badly battered also but I spoil them and they're doing great

wow I just saw you're wheaten rumpless and my little wheat colored one looks much like yours except for the rump and the lack of beautiful feathers now both of those two that I showed the black one and the light colored one came from the same Ranch I guess they had an overwhelming amount of roosters and I tried to get a few more hens but he took them to auction and I don't know what good that did for the birds because I just love the birds I would have just baby them just like I do my others. what do you think do you think she might also be a Araucana?

The US standards for Araucanas are for them to be rumpless... looks like yours are very pretty Easter Eggers... very good of you to rescue those poor girls...
