Sorry to hear that. I'm surprised Looloo did that!

Dang, the second video is brutal! Can't say I've seen that with any of my birds, new or old. Wish I had some advice but I don't. Hopefully a little more time will help settle them.

Wow! One thing I've gotten really pleased about is my flock seems 'welcoming' as far as flocks go. There's pecking, but I haven't seen any real fights between members. Maybe I've just never seen them, but integration seems to go fairly quickly in my flock.

I'm confused anytime Ann talks about wheaten quite honestly. (I've seen her talk about it on Facebook, too). She speaks of it differently than the genetics people on here use it.

There are Black Breasted Red Araucanas and there are Wheaten Araucanas and then there are Black Breasted Red Wheaten Araucanas.
From what I can gather the Black Breasted Red Araucana color standard was based on the Black Breasted Red Cubalaya color standard. Apparently the Black Breasted Red Cubalaya color standard calls for lighter females and as such so does the Black Breasted Red Araucana color standard. The problem seems to be that Black Breasted Red Araucana pullets and hens can be separated into what Ann calls “Dark Red Wheaten” (APA Black Breasted Red) and I guess regular Black Breasted Red (Dark females).
And to complicate matters even more the APA color standard for Black Breasted Red Araucana is modeled after the Black Breasted Red Cubalaya color standard, while the ABA has a different color standard for Black Breasted Red Araucana Bantams.
