Unfortunately, no. Either I'm just not good at this, or I need to go get myself a more reliable incubator than the one I had. If I get to that. I need to reassess what I want to do soon. Hoping Ann comes up with some BBRs (or similar) soon, otherwise, I'm gonna see who/what I can buy elsewhere.

Actually, is it possible for one of you two to forward any emails she sends out? I'm still not on the list, apparently.

Also Ann usually has birds to sell this time of year and in October-January.
On the Araucana Breeders & Exhibitors Facebook group Ann says she has some birds that she is looking to sell now.

I saw that one! Unfortunately, with me driving down to Baltimore next week, I can't afford to grab some of them... Heck, I would have been all over those duckwing babies she'd posted last week!

Hi y'all or all of you. I'm hoping to get into this breed this or next year. I love the look of the rumpless birds. I'm looking at possibly getting a trio locally here in NC. Fingers crossed. Apparently they are young and the hens just started laying.

Welcome! Good luck with your trio! I too was attracted to the breed because of the rumpless look. Don't get me wrong, I love tufts, but I'm all about the rumplessness!

I (well, my BF) got the coop divided yesterday! Built a wall with a door in less than 3 hrs! Spaz/"Triton" (that name just comes to mind when I look at him) is calming down. He has a ways to go, though. Didn't have time for pictures. Next, we have to built a divided outdoor run. At least they are out of cages.

I happened to find a second trio all black. It's an old guy whose health is failing. He wants 15/bird or 10 if someone takes all 5. 2 are only 7/8 Araucana he claims.

Can you still get the purebred trio? Even though it will be more money it will be worth it! Araucana genetics are tricky enough without having other breeds involved. If you mix the half breeds with the true Araucanas you would be setting yourself back many years in terms of breeding out tails, improper skin color, straight combs, etc.
