Son of Degas, this is Matisse. I've shown him 3 years now and he is an old pro.

Thank you for the pics Ann, and she is a princess. She has a very regal look about her. I like her rumpy behind.

Silver has started laying eggs, so I think she is settleing in just fine here. Minnie would much prefer to be running loose, poor thing.

Ann~
They are soo cool and I definitely see Degas as Matisse's dad

I'm not working on red at this time. Ann Charles has the only reds I've ever seen and they are cool but I have no idea how to breed for it.
Thank you for sharing all the awesome photos!

Lanae,
I'm going out to take some photo's, hopefully they will be good. My camera doesn't have flash anymore and the natural light has to be good for them to turn out good. I'm hoping to get another camera soon. I'll post the photo's of the ones I'm selling here but they're on my website for sale too and on Ovabid now too. I have Paypal set up on my website but anyone who is interested needs to contact me before hitting buy now to make sure they aren't sold.

Be still my heart! That is a wonderful lot of Araucanas! I think I should know this, but which show was that? What an awesome turnout for the Araucanas.

Meg,

It was the Northeastern Poultry Congress.

Lanae,

Poor Minnie is so independent, she knew where to sneak out of the fences and because she was always so small she could. She is very strong willed, quite the survivor. I bet she will be a good broody someday and kick butt when she hatches chicks.

I just came in......brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! It's dropping from 40's to teens in a day, routine weather for us but geezz, c'mon spring already,

Here are some that I just took of Guy, the one I said was black/red? Well, his color is really dark but I think it's blue now

He has a nice, small pea comb and slate legs, rumpless but his back isn't "too, too" short so he should do better breeding. His tufts are equal though small.

He honestly looked black just recently but he's maturing now and really changing in personality and looks. His blue, if it's really blue is very dark and clean. He's going to mature right nicely, if I didn't already have 4 roosters...
Anyway, here are some photo's, if anyone is interested in him then go to my website to pay for him but remember to let me know so I can take him off the market.

Here is Guy and Sparky, the other Cockerel up for sale that is bilaterally tufted and partial tailed.

Here is more of Sparky, also for sale. His redeeming qualities are his tufts and nice green legs. He has a partial tail that makes him look off but he's actually maturing pretty nice and Loves the hens already

Guy is not to that point yet.

He can add tufts bred to a nice rumpless/clean faced hen and he's a lot cheaper.
