Araucana thread anyone?

Syble,
I should have done that but didn't want to overpost photos. A tufted and a clean faced roo is in each pen

Just took some pics of my first "real" breeding pen. I put my trio of whites in my wire pen, they get the wire since they're white. Oddly enough, they stayed white on the ground too but this pen was available so I used it.
Casper, Snow White (Snowy) and Fawn. I believe Casper and Snowy are recessive whites and Fawn is dominant white. I can't wait to see what they produce. I won't figure this pen to be purely Caspers for a while. If I can get a nice enough, white/rumpless/tufted/yellow legged rooster of Fawn/Caspers then I'll use him for Fawn and Snowy and the pullets will go to Casper next year or I may combine all the whites, it will depend on whether I have enough pens.

Smoothmule, Can you really ever have too many araucana pics? Really?! LOL!

If it was me i would do:

and

He has the most red of any of them, i think they would make a good pair and be most likely to give you more of her. IMHO that is haha.
Thanks
Sib

smoothmule, I am still very new to Araucanas, but you have my vote for Lucy to go with Rudy. He looks to be the best for her color and has the best comb. Again I am still learning. Good luck... curious to see what advice you get.
