And, I've FINALLY got myself my own home-hatched Araucanas for the year!

Just had a barred/cuckoo chick hatch about 5 minutes ago, plus I've got some duckwing chicks in the brooder that hatched 2 weeks ago. Still awaiting more to come out.

Nope. I'm not certified, so I don't want to illegally ship him. If there was a swap nearby, I'd get a friend to drive him over though, but still, that requires you to be about a state or two away.

BTW., I decided to go ahead and get a clean-faced rumpless blue roo from the same place I am getting the clean-faced blue pullets. I can breed him to my tufted rumpless blue chick to get tufted rumpless babies.
I should have them by Wed.
I am so excited! Now I have to build another pen for just my araucanas...my hubby is thrilled..

No shipping, huh? Well harumpf. I want that boy and I want him bad. According to the map, it is only a 12 hr dr. from my place to yours. I'm trying to figure out how to present this to my husband in such a way that he would say yes...... Nothing is coming to mind. How much are you asking for the rooster? Did I already say that I want him bad?
