Araucana thread anyone?

I'm new to this thread and to the breed and I was wondering if someone could post a pic of a pullet and roo at about around 8 weeks old I've done a search and I can't find and pics of chicks around the same age as mine are. I have 2 rumpless non tufted chicks I'm not sure what color they are I got them from a breeder who told my daughter to pick a couple of chicks she liked we were there to pick up Lav Orps and Ameracuana's

I candled my araucana eggs last night and almost all were developing! Two from the eBay seller had developed blood rings, so they were tossed. But one egg was especially exciting, since the embryo was positioned so perfectly that I could see the heart beating through the shell! I thought it was totally AMAZING

Well, everyone wish me luck...I set my first batch of eggs in the incubator this morning at 7:45 am. This will be my first ever try at incubating eggs.

I have lavender araucana eggs from Jody at Hink JC . Her lavenders are so beautiful! Hope I get some good ones, too!

Good luck with the eggs Norma. I have a hatch set with 23 eggs. Hoping to grow out some nice ones for next year's breeders. I'll keep my fingers crossed for yours too.

Thanks, Jody..I will keep my fingers crossed for both of us!
I also got my new rumpless blue roo and 3 new blue pullets in today..Such an exciting day!
I just got done building a new pen for all of my blue araucanas. Not a perfect job, but it will do..and the chicks are happy after spending 2 days in that box!

Our hatch's will be pretty close, I have a couple dozen from hinkjc due to arrive tomorrow

This is almost like waiting for Christmas!
Just a few months ago, I was still looking for araucanas, and now I have 7, and after my hatch, am praying for several more.
I retired last year,(for the 3rd time..lol) and I was sooo bored. Now I have something to look forward to! That, and in August, my youngest son and wife are expecting a baby! My youngest grandchild is 12, so this first baby for my son is awesome..it's a boy! His name is Kellen. It's been 2 years since there has been a baby in the family. And that was a great grandson.

Eggs arrived in perfect condition, resting now and they will be put in the incubator in the morning and some to a broody hen.
