Araucana thread anyone?

We mean pullet eggs as in the eggs were laid by pullets instead of hens.

D'oh! I thought you had some kind of cool magic...

Hi Mendocinosunrise, you are my neighbor sorta. I am in Willits. Welcome to the araucana forum. Good to have you here.

I get better fertility from my pullets also. I figure, the older hens are smarter about evading the young roos.

This weeks hatching started early. I woke up to one chick out and running around. one more hatched this afternoon and 3 more are almost out. They weren't expected to start hatching till tomorrow. I would rather have early than late though. When they are late I have a hard time keeping my hands off the incubator.

These are my blue eggers hatching, but I do have 1 from Gary Ramey that looks like it might be pipped, and another one is rolling around. I have 3 Gary eggs in the hatcher but 1 is the one I cracked and it looks like it is a quitter I have it in there just in case I am wrong.

Hi, Lanae - Thanks!
Oh - and I would love to buy a couple of chicks from you when they're available.

I'm so glad I found BYC - you are all great.

I have several cleanfaced and rumpless straight run chicks available, and 1 tufted and tailed almost certainly pullet available. They are all between 2 weeks and 4 weeks.
