Oh my God he's beautiful!!
Thanks, I think so too. He isn't the friendliest boy out there, not mean at all, just very stand off ish. Little man on the other hand is all about hopping up on whatever body part he can perch on and have a little conversation, but I just don't see the same intensity of color in Little man.

Ari is just now starting to act like a boy. Yesterday I saw him try and mount his girl friend Mensa a beautiful NN, (she wasn't having any of it by the way) and today was his first attempt at crowing.

I took a few pictures this evening. Including the odd colored pullet. She sure is pretty, even if she is weird.

This is my pullet who formerly appeared mottled. Now she is solid black!

It was very windy during these pictures, and this displeased her.

A blue pullet I am in love with. I love how she turned out!

The odd girl

I also love this beautiful pullet. I really like birds who are blue, but her red chest adds some extra pop, she really stands out.

the odd ball reminds me of blue wheaten duckwing lol, if thats even possible lol, I'm right with you on the blues and blue reds... did you see the picture of my ginger blue girls a ways back? They lack your girls magnificent tufts though... maybe next year?

I can't recall that I did. I'll go look through the older posts. Sometimes I miss stuff, I've been busy of late, heh.

Are they the same as Ameracauna.. I've two chicks but they already got all their feathers.. I'll post the pictures here : http://surikraft.wordpress.com/2012/11/22/my-young-ladies/

No, there are definite differences between the Araucana and Ameraucana breeds!

Your girls are lovely, but they look to be Easter Eggers. EEs are the kind of blue egg laying mix sold by hatcheries. They have no standard and aren't actually a breed. That doesn't make them bad, though. What is bad, is that many hatcheries mislabel their EEs on purpose, calling them Ameraucanas or Araucanas when they are clearly not. This confuses a lot of people new to poultry who don't know any better.
