I had an araucana rumpless/clean faced hen go broody, whe was free ranging with a blue wheaten ameraucana. Skunk messed things up and we ended up with 5 eggs in the bator. First one hatched and is rumpless and bearded.... too cute

Awesome! I've been wanitng to try that, but my only araucana girl is a banty that eats her own eggs as soon as she lays them. I did hatch some banty araucana x cochins and they are really cute- but all have tails. The mama cochins lay pink eggs- so I can't wait to see what I get out of them
