So how soon would you be able to tell if an araucana chick is going to be rumpless?

Typically in a couple weeks if no tail feathers start, that's a good sign. Most tail sprigs start showing in a week or two already. On a rumpless bird, it stays fluffy at the rump for a while until the back feathers start coming in.
