Arctic Blast #2 coming next week! Are you ready?

Just caught this on the weather tonight... Bitter cold winter blast #2 coming next week for most of the US, starting this weekend. Is your flock ready? Are YOU ready?

we cheat I use heated dog water bowls and heat lamps. The winters here just get too cold to not have any help.

Yup, heated waterers, have used them for years. Have not had chickcicles here yet.

I'm ready for it, I just don't like it. HATE this winter cold. These bones are getting too old to slip and slide in sub-zero temperatures to take care of a bunch of spoiled cows and dumb birds. Waaaaaahhh I wanna hide inside with my blankey, cocoa and a good book!

We're as ready as we can be. We've been spoiled, lately, so it'll take a bit of getting used to. But, it's actually about where we should be for late January. I have snowpants and artic boots at the ready
