Are all chickens the same?

I don't have any children, but if they were anything like my chickens they would either be in prison for life or forever living home with me drinking juice boxes, playing video games and taking my social security checks.:lau
@Chickassan and @MissChick@dee,
With your chickens that spoiled I’d be curious to know how your children turned out. Nah, after thinking that over, I’m sure you’re like me. My kids were spoiled, but not near as much as my chickens.:lau

Guys off topic question!

Ducks are like chickens right? You dont necessarily need a male to make eggs?? Males are only to fertilize right?

The OP may appreciate learning where eggs come from.
The reproductive tract begins with the ovary. The oviduct consists of the infundibulum which accepts a released ovum and it is fertilized in the 15 minutes it spends there if a rooster is present. The next section is the magnum and the yolk spends 3 hours there while albumen is added. The yolk and albumen enter the isthmus where the inner and outer membrane are added in a little over an hour. The future egg then spends over 20 hours in the uterus or shell gland. Calcium carbonate for the shell, pigment and cuticle are added there just before laying. In very productive birds, the next ovum is released about an hour after the previous egg is laid. So normally it is 25 hours to much longer between eggs.

If your rocks lump is on the right side of her breast then it is almost sure the lump is her crop or 1st stomach.

Is it any wonder then that you hen runs when she sees you coming?
Actually the proventriculus is the first stomach. The crop is before that. The gizzard is the mechanical stomach.
The esophagus goes from the mouth to the proventriculus. The crop is basically a distended portion of the esophagus external to the body cavity which can hold food and accommodates sporadic feeding.
The proventriculus is closest to a mammalian stomach. Acidic digestive juices and enzymes are added there which start the digestive process.
The gizzard is next and that is where the food is ground up.

Thank you!

So I put an ad to trade some chickens for ducks but only females and I just got an email from someone saying they raise waterfowl and I needed a Male to get eggs. Which didnt seem right but hey as this thread started I dont know too much and thought I'd ask.

Btw for my post viewers my chicken is fine aside being upset with me and my groping everyone is good

You most certainly do not need a male to get eggs. If you wanted babies then you would need one. Sounds like they are just trying to get rid of a male.;)
