Are Ameracauna chickens classified as medium or large chickens?

I'm confused by the multiple conflicting online descriptions of standard sized Ameracauna chickens. Are they considered as medium or large chickens?

I find wikipedia quoting the standard weights as:
Male, 5.5–6.5 lb
Female, 4.5–5.5 lb
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ameraucana
[I ran into dead links trying to find an official site with the standard, but it was easy to find wikipedia. If they're wrong, hopefully someone will correct that.]

If you're dealing with the mixed-color chickens sold as "Americana" by some hatcheries and stores, they may weigh more or less than the breed is supposed to weigh, but probably still not especially big (because there's no reason for a hatchery to deliberately breed them larger.)

If you divide chickens into small (bantam) and large (everything else), then the standard sized Ameraucana would have to be large.

But if you are only considering the large-fowl chickens (no bantams), then Ameraucanas are probably medium to small.

If you can't find a handy chart of chicken weights, try looking at the breed pages of hatcheries. Many of them list what the weights of each breed are supposed to be. Bantams are typically under 2 pounds at maturity. Anything else is large fowl, with the weights ranging from about 3 pounds up to over 12 pounds, depending on the breed and sex involved.
