Are Ameraucanas naturally mean and bullies?

I'm glad you figured out what was causing the problem.
Can you post a few pics of your chicks?
We can tell you if they are true Ameraucanas or EEs.

Here they are. Some are starting to get their combs and they have all had full beards since bringing them home.

I've been happier with my EEs; better layers, fun colors, generally nice birds, and from three different hatcheries over the years.
My one and only experience with SQ Ameraucanas was not as good; beautiful birds, very poor laying hens.
I'll stick with the EEs.
The problem is about truth in advertising. Ameraucanas are a breed that come in specific colors, and they lay blue/aqua eggs. EEs are crossbreds that can be any color, and lay (more) eggs that can be tan, shades of green, blue, pinkish, whatever.

Oh well. If they don't lay blue, I could always eat them, except the Lil Lady has gone and got "attached" to them. At least for now.
Can someone post a few pics of some true Ameraucanas? From what I've read, Auracanas have feathers that stick out about their ears and are tail - less. But Ameraucana hens have sideburns and a tail. The Cocks are supposed to have a tail and sideburns, but also a full beard with a long Goat-T sometimes. But my info is from Google images, and it can be wrong a lot of the time.
