Are they separate german breed or just bersion/sub breed or Plymouth rocks(Barred)? There are alot info on here and alot more different answers. Thanks

I read that but on other post someone said they are considered their own separate breed in germany I think it said in 1982. Also it said that they were brought there in 1870 and german breeder worked on them. I on't know which one is true.Ridgerunner explained this really well here:
