I wanted to update this post. The first few are 22 weeks and the rest are 20 weeks. I would like to know breed and gender (I will state the breed if I know it). Some of these I have not posted pics of here yet. The Wyandottes were sexed as pullets, but I think I may have a roo Wyandotte. Thanks!
Unknown breed and gender, Chicken #1
Unknown breed and gender, Chicken #2
SL Wyandotte, thinking pullet, Chicken #3
SL Wyandotte, thinking pullet but not sure, Chicken #4
SL Wyandotte, thinking cockerel, but not sure, Chicken #5
Unknown breed and gender, although I'm thinking pullet, Chicken #6
Unknown breed and gender, although we think this one is laying eggs (seen her nesting, but no confirmed eggs from this pullet, but we ARE getting about a pullet egg a week), Chicken #7
Also, any ideas on the white chicken in the last picture? I know she's a hen, she's our oldest and layer of the darkest biggest eggs, but we don't know her breed.
what color is the egg you are getting? the one you think is a roo is either close to point of lay or laying, that's why her comb and wattles are so much more red, the other SLW is not ready to lay eggs yet, that's why her comb is smaller and paler
the change in the comb can be very dramatic, I've had a couple hens go from pale comb, standoffish, to literally within a couple days the comb is blood red and they squat and eat out of my hand.....
the first hen also looks close to point of lay or may be laying, she looks like a mixed breed possibly with some Easter egger judging by the small pea-ish looking comb and her cheek tufts, but I wouldn't count on green or blue eggs with those yellow legs. Her color is very similar to some production red breeds (brown egg layers) Either way she's a pretty bird.
the gold colored hen looks like a buff orpington possibly

Oh, I'm so happy they all might be hens, and in shock. We got 10 chicks with the white hen (she was raising them) and 5 of them got killed by our dog when they got out of the coop (
). And they were unsexed, so what a miracle they all might be hens!
We are only getting brown eggs. The SLW with the bigger, redder comb has always had a larger comb/wattle, which is why I've doubted her sex, but I'm happy it just might be maturity! Its likely the first pullet is crossed with a RIR, as the breeder had a RIR in with her easter egger--I was hoping for some blue/blue-green eggs, but won't be disappointed either way! As for the gold colored hen, I'm not ruling out BO, but I don't *think* she is. Our other BOs have a much different body shape/plumage. She might be a BO cross, though, I don't know what she might be crossed with.
They are all pullets! The first 2 are EEs -- not all EEs have green legs. Both SLW are pullets -- the second looks like she's on point of lay. #6 looks to be a Buff Orpington or a NH.. and she looks sick...
#7... Wow... If she's not an EE with a single comb, then she could be the mix in my EE Iris! Her coloring is exactly the same. The white one is either a Columbian Rock or possibly a Delaware...

Why do you say she looks sick? She's a really dumb chicken--has been since birth. She's frozen her toes and she's always the last to find her way back to the roost, but she hasn't changed that behavior since we got her at 10 days old. She had a sister that looked the same as she did and she died about a week ago to an unknown cause, so she very well could be sick. They act normally, although we are treating for lice/mites.

She looks sick to me because she is standing puffed up with her tail down. Last fall I had a hen that was standing in the exact same position as your girl is, and she had some unknown problem and died. She would try her best to keep up with the rest of my flock, but usually ended up standing around in corners.
