Are anyone's hens still laying?

The lady I got my eggs from said hers stopped laying because of the heat. I am looking for a few more eggs and don't know if this is a local phenomenon or if I'm out of luck till next year.

Still laying here in the south but they are about to stop. Bronze and cameo peacocks are throwing their trains. All the northern breeders will lay for a while yet.

Some of mine are, others are sitting cause I can't find the nest till they come in to eat, I have pulled eggs on 3 hens that have gone broody and one of them is just starting to lay again

Mine in VA are really JUST getting cranked up after a cool Spring that turned hot really fast but has now leveled out in the 75-85 degree range. Normally I get eggs until mid-July......

Two of my hens aren't laying now, but one keeps popping them out... I think she's laid 19 since 5-3 and looks like she's going to lay again tonight.

All of my 5 peahens have stopped laying. One of the five is on a nest. I don't know if I will get anymore eggs but my four year old peacock is still displaying and not losing feathers.

Soo looks like its hit and miss for this year anyway. Iffen any of y'all have any extras you wouldn't mind tossing in the mail please send me a PM. (I don't care at all what colors, just love our babies to pieces)

MY BS Male and Bs Spalding Peahen are still mating, I also just got the fifth egg of the season from her today.
