Are bantam roosters good protectors?

My rooster is also good for sounding alerts, sometimes when I bring out a box or the green can. And sometimes even just when a crow passes by. He is a full size chocolate orpington, he’s beautiful.

Bantams are basically smaller versions of the original. But just as cute!
