are blue slates broody?

If you have two incubators staggered hatches are no problem. I use an incubating unit with turner to incubate them then move them to the hatching unit without turner on the day they are to stop turning. I keep track of this by writing the date they need to stop turning on the airspace end of the egg when I first put them in the incubator. You can add eggs every few days or whatever as long as you mark the date they need to go to the hatching incubator and move them on that day.

Be sure to place bogus eggs in the nest when you take the eggs or they may stop laying.

I have never dealt with blue slates but I understand that breeding blue slates do not produce blue slates. FYI
