are cackle ameraucanas worth the price?

I bought a dozen white Ameraucana's from them last year. By 6 months in age the black leakage was so bad that they looked like young Dalmatians. Emailed them and sent pictures and not happy with the replies, which was basically the owner would investigate with the breeding manager., never heard anything else. I ended up selling them for less than I paid per chick, let alone feed costs. As much as it seems to be nice that they are one of the only hatcheries that carry Ameraucana's, find a breeder

Breeders lie bought some from a breeder turned out the rooster only had one copy of the blue egg gene...one came blind and one had scissor beak....

I got lavender and black ameraucanas from cackle and I have been really pleased. Some of the best looking ameraucanas I've ever saw with huge muffs and beards and lay bright blue eggs. My uncle bought some from a breeder and they didn't grow off near as nice as mine from cackle. I'd highly recommend their lavender

Here's a couple eggs from yesterday, one is from a Lavender and the other a black Ameracauna both from cackle
