Are Call ducks really noisy

I have about half an Acre of land, and my neighbors are relative close. I was looking into call ducks since they are a smaller breed and I was wondering; are call ducks really THAT loud?

Yes, the females can be quite loud at times. If your neighbors aren't too fond of hearing Duck noises all day/night, I would suggest getting a quieter breed or having a drake only flock.

My black East Indies are fairy quiet. They are only a little bigger than calls.

Yes, East Indies might be a good alternative, they are known for being more quieter/shyer then Calls. Of course, you may end up with a loud one, personality plays a huge role whether they will be loud or not.

I had to hatch mine from eggs. The only place I know to get them is as adult pairs from duck creek farm.
