Are Canadian Geese Good Pets?

Just wondering if anybody has any experience with Canadian geese as pets. Can they be tame? Will they fly away?

In most places they are illegal to own and they have a tendency to insist on migrating.

They are illegal to own here but nothing says that you cant feed them while they are on your property. I have a friend that had two big ponds and they stay at his house all summer long.

I've got one named Steven. We adopted him because his wings were cut off by someone... He is very tame and smart, and he comes when you call him. He has a pen but he likes to come inside. They are very loud and destructive though. And chase away strangers. Well at least Steven does
