Are capon's nicer and quiter then roosters?

I wouldn't do it, one of the experienced farmers at the place I'm learning agriculture would find someone to do it for an okay price and comfortably for the bird (Anesthesia, proper tools, and rehabilitating medications) This is a pet bird being raised as a family animal, so we are more willing to spend money on procedures like this.

No I mean I personally wouldn't cut open my rooster, I would get an experienced person to do it.
