Are capon's nicer and quiter then roosters?

In theory, yes, capons are "nicer" than whole roosters.

The creation of a capon is wholly another matter. DO some research to see if you are up to it.

Except that people doing caponization are not vets. The testicles on a chicken are internal and it is an invasive surgery.

Why you hardly ever see capons anymore is that modern broilers simply grow faster, fatter and quicker than a capon. The caponized birds still take 14+ weeks to roaster size, where a broiler would get there in 8-10 weeks. They simply aren't practial anymore.

I know this had been asked but do Capons crow?
Personally I would be screaming if my manhood was removed by
some farmer from the inside out.

On a serious note I do remember a post where someone mentioned
caponizing is very popular in Asia.

Oh, Wildsky, come on over with your razor. I'm all lathered up. You go first.

Not looking to argue with you, but capons are readily available in the grocery stores up here, right beside the broilers & roasters.

Obviously there is a market for these birds. And they command a premium price.
