I have a broody that will not relent, so I'm starting to feel pity for her and was thinking of getting her a few chicks. (We don't have a roo)

Or you could call around to different feed shops and check craigslist to see if there are any local ones!

Quote:x2 I think if you check around local you would have better luck finding a small quantity cheaper.

Definitely try Craigslist, we were looking for just one royal palm turkey and found one there. It is such a great resource for just s few chicks or even grown chickens.

Quote:X2 on craigslist - I got 20 chicks last fall that way. Surely there's someone local that's got some eggs for ya.
