A lot of us are in the 'both' category.

Nine-tenths of the Hagan birds are livestock.

But I've let my girls name a few and make pets of them.

Then there is the Kinder Major's show birds which are somewhat betwixt and between.

Mostly livestock and a few pets.

I was in shock when I found this forum and saw how many people considered them pets. Some people on here seem to treat their chickens better than their families. But geez folks, they're birds. Definitely, in my opinion, they are livestock. Chicken sweaters? I mean, really? Lot of people here seem to humanize them, and that's never good!
