Are crepe myrtle trees or bushes safe for my chickens to eat?

I want to plant some trees and or bushes in my yard. Are crepe myrtle trees or bushes safe? Any recommendations?

IDK. I'd guess the chickens won't eat them to a toxic level if they are toxic. I tried giving mine gardenia blooms.. they spit them out. I really only worry about nails, bb's, cigarette butts, etc.

My chickens love eating the flowers off crepe myrtles and they ain't dead yet.

I have some Crape Myrtles in some of my pens. No problems with them either. Good luck and have fun...
