If the crested parent is pure for the crested gene (Cr) then all the offspring will have crests. If the crested parent is impure (Cr/cr+) then half will have crests and half will not. Just to add, a non crested bird carries no copies of the crested gene. If you know how rose or pea comb breeding works, just apply it to crests.
