Are Dominiques Known as a Smart Breed?

OK, I'm sure ya'll are thinking this is a dumb question. And I guess I agree, but I've read lots of posts where their youngins take forever to come in and out of the coop and use their runway down to the run. 4 1/2 weeks old and 3 days in the coop, and they come down when the door opens, and go up at dusk. And smart birds usually get in a lot of mischief and trouble. Can't do anything about it now, but I think I might have picked birds we can't keep track of!!!
 
I am new to chickens but for what it is worth... my flock of 15 has 2 Dominiques and they are on the sharper end. I have a Sicilian Buttercup that is the sharpest of the bunch but those two are right up there.
