I have this question becauseI am planning on getting some chicks in the spring, and I am considering Easter Eggers as one of the breeds. I would like to know if they are harder to sex because they are mixes, with no real sexing standard.
Any info welcome! Thanks in advance!

Most breeds can be sexed at 6-8 weeks by males getting pink than red combs. Since their combs are smaller it could seem more difficult, but shouldn't be.

I think easter eggers are easy to sex. Males have flashy color patterns and females are more plain. Excepting white ones. But in general not hard. I once had 11 out of 13 be males and I think it's because I picked the extra pretty chicks.

Yes, as adults they are as easy to sex as other breeds, but what about newly hatched chicks?

Just so you know, my 2 EEs were female!
