are easter eggers noisy?

im deciding on if i should get 1 rooster easter egger when i get 6 EE hens. are the ee roosters noisy? if so, how loud are they. please tell me what you think. thank you.

Yes they can get loud depending on what you think loud is. Their just like most other Roo's

I would say the EE roo I had was about average. He started crowing at 20 weeks, and crowed about 10 times in the morning and about 5-10 more times for the rest of the day. Not really a lot I don't think, but it all depends on what you think is a lot My neighbors have some banty roos and one barnyard variety roo and they're at it all the time from dawn to dusk. I would imagine that the breed makeup of your EE would have an effect on how much he crows too. Mine was half Buff Orpington, don't know about the other half. I bet if he had a lot of Egyptian Fayumi or another early-crowing breed in him he would be louder.

Yes, they are noisy, just like any rooster.
