Are easter eggers picked on more because they are so docile?

well, my BR was the head hen before her death a few days ago, and my EE Mercedes was the next in line for the job. She took over like a champ and is certainly NOT docile lol She is a friendly thing but she does her job

The buff orpington is bottom bird on the totem pole

she is always picked on...

but none of my EE have ever been meek or lovey like the buff orp's tho lol

Ya'll have been great. Apparently they can go either way. I have a buff who believes he is head honcho, but Rascal, my main banty rooster proved him wrong. (I am soooo glad my roos know who is the boss when I am out there, a rooster we had last year was very mean. ) I think once I get these guys into a tractor they will be fine. Separate them out from the others. I have a lot of blue EE. and want to play with the color more.

My ameraucana is bottom of the food chain out of my three girls my BR are sisters and they tag team everything then little Lucy my ameraucana is jumpy and has never been attacked or pecked at but she always seems like she is going to bolt at any moment.... my ameraucana also has never once made a sound. can a bird be mute? or is that the breed, just quiet?

I have two EE's, I would say one is higher than the other, but she protects her sister. My little roo won't even mess with the one tough EE. I think each chicken has their own personality that isn't always based on breed.

I have 6 chicks ranging in age from 13 weeks to 8 weeks - they make very little noise. They are townie chicks so it's nice they are not too loud. The dog across the street, the one down the road, and others are much louder than they are. The bantam hen I just got is a bit louder than the rest, but still not very loud.

I was wondering if it is how they are raised, and how much noise is around them. I don't think we live in a loud area, but there is consistent traffic and children noises (LOL my kids are WAY louder than the chicks).

My 3 week old EE definately rules all the three week olds (It is twice as big as them - the rest are banty's

) but it also holds it ground to my two 12 week olds - one a pretty hefty RIR unknown sex STILL. The RIR got in with the babies and the EE was gonna have a pecking match with it to protect it's D'Uccle buddies. ( I sure hope this doesn't mean rooster - I want to keep it)

LOL Docile EE's! Mine kick my butt regularly. Their the only hens i know that will ride on the feed bucket to the feeder. Their not starved, in fact i tend to over feed.
