Are four O'clocks safe for ducks?

they are on the poisonous list and can seriously harm humans, dogs, and cats. Deer and rabbit stay away, and they are used for a live poison trap for Japanese beetles, since they find the plant irresistible and die after consuming it. I would think ducks are no different, and the plant should be poisonous to them.
