Only advice I can offer here is to do your homework. Some bloodlines can be a little more touchy....meaning it is easier to turn them into manfighters. And some bloodlines, such as these redquills I have, are very independant in mind....meaning if they don't want picked up then you best not pick them up! Like others have said though a well bred well raised gamecock is gentle to humans and a joy to have around.

I have a couple of oegb the hen is the sweetest thing ever and the roo is nice too so far. They are about 6mos. I only have the pair though.
