I have a holly tree in the area I'm building the duck pen. Seeing as how they put everything in their mouth, I started worrying about the berries. Are they poisonous?

If I read that correctly it says they are toxic to people, but that some birds eat them during the winter. I didn't see anything related to ducks specifically.

We have a huge holly tree here by the house and some birds just go crazy over those berries here in the fall and winter, still, I am not sure if the ducks can eat them.

My Bantam ate one winter berry I think it was any way. Will it kill her? And can I feed had more if it is not poison.

The tree she ate one berry from.

welcome to BYC mypepsidoodle!

I'm not quite sure if it's poisonous to chickens. I tried searching it but all that came up was that wild birds love them.
