The Henderson chicken breed chart compares a lot of popular breeds, including their cold hardiness. http://www.ithaca.edu/staff/jhenderson/chooks/chooks.html#j Ideal Hatchery sells what they call Indian Red Jungle Fowl, know nothing about the IRJF but if you are going to order other chicks from Ideal, could order a few of the IRJF and see if you like them at all before going with breeder quality birds.

Well im going to start breeding big egg layers and some Turkeys and hopefully i can start breeding the fancy kind i love chickens but there's also some money in them and I'm seventeen so I'll make some side cash but i really can't wait for the experience and the treaty eggs. P.S I'm also raising coturnix quail
