are Leghorns and rhode island reds aggressive

I just bought my first rooster last week! He is a baby brahma and has become one of two (of the 7) who really likes being held. These two hop in my hand whenever I go visit. He even climbs onto my shoulder now. That's him in the back, the only one that seems to be looking right at the camera. The other super friendly baby is a barred plymouth rock (I think)

I have a white Leghorn roo and 3 pullets in with my rather diverse and colorful flock. TJ (the roo) is NOT aggressive. The Josies (all three pullets) are active and interested in anything going on. They don't like to be picked up or held, but that's okay because I have plenty of chickens who do like it.

I haven't had a RIR rooster until recently, and he's a cockerel just begun crowing. Again, he's one of many roosters in the flock.... right now he's sex crazed, in the adolescent phase. A little aggressive in that sense, but not to other roosters. He knows he's not The Flock Master.

I think it's an individual trait and you have to wait and see if yours (should get get any of those two breeds) turn out to be aggressive or not. Good luck! Maybe you'll be lucky like me!

I only know about RIRs. I can say that are chatty, but in a good way. And I L♥ve to hear Big Red crow. It was never a obnoxious crow. It was a glad to see ya crow. 5 times a day if I came buy that much. They pretty much did their own thing but loved to surrond me when I came with food. Not that were hungry but knew I brought Meal worms and lettuce often and were spoiled. I did have one hen out of the six that wanted to peck me to say "look at me....look at me. So I pet her neck and she was good for another day. The only agressive chicken I ever had was a Barred Rock rooster that did not like my 6 year old granddaughter. She always brought food for him but he tried to jump on her and peck her very aggressively. Like he was visiously fighting another rooster. I had to run in and drop kick him from flying at her face with his nails. If I was five seconds slower, she would of had faicial scares for life. Needless to say he was yummy with sweet and sour sauce. Odd thing is He only liked me. He never really liked anyone one else coming in the run. I hated he had to go but my granddaughter loves chickens and feeds/pets/loves them daily. Big Ben thinks she is Momma and adores her to the end of the earth. Me....ahhh he likes if I have food. But he thinks she walks on water.
