Cute & cuddly, not really. But oriental games like people. They just donʻt like each other. My grandfather was a lot like that too. Loved animals but hated his neighbors. Oh well. The big thing to remember is that they need a lot of space and that you donʻt buy a lot of them. They must live a solitary life in the wild. Also, the hens choose the stag. They mature quicker and will seriously harm unwanted suitors. Once they "bond" they are OK, but until then its a little dicey.

We have cuddley ones...my boy carries his around often and they are great...they do have issues with other birds
