Are meat birds dirty?

I can't speak for Cornish, but I can for freedom Rangers. First batch of 125, I only got 103 to the processor. Lost a few as babies, a few more due to my construction skills or lack thereof when I ran them over in the chicken tractor and the rest when I free ranged them and my dogs decided to become predators. I had pasty butt early, then in the tractor, they looked clean but cramped. When I let them out on pasture, even though the dogs got some of them, they acted like, looked like, and were, just chickens. They weren't dirty or anything like that.

2nd batch of 103- Brought home to brooder and had Heintz Apple Cider Vinegar, a couple glugs per bucket, in their 5 gallon bucket waterers with nipples. Introduce the first 30 or so to a nipple and food. The other 70 got introduced to food only. They are now approaching 4 weeks tomorrow, still in brooder, doing fine, only lost one when I needed the brooder, looked like it got crushed in a corner by either my doing or it's brethren. Just got my premier netting and plan to put them out of the brooder tomorrow. Need to make feeders and 1 more nipple waterer (5 gal bucket with about 10 feet of pvc capped with nipples. About 20 nipples for 100 birds. Will add more if necessary.
