I have 10 hens and my son brought two chicks home from the farm he works at.
Was hoping they were hens too. I cant tell on the smaller one yet.

I'm not seeing anything particularly roosterish about this bird. Can we get a better pic, profile shot of the bird standing, including legs? Also, any idea how old the bird is?

Which bird are you asking about? Both birds look like pullets to me. The first pictures you posted looked nothing like a cockerel. Also, please tell us some details like, how old are they, and what breeds?

That dun, partridge color looks like a hen to me. I agree with donrae and SilkiesForEver, I don't see anything that looks like a roo on either bird.
