Are my Barred rocks feet normal?

My Barred Rock has very large feet is this normal? I have no idea on her age but her I have her about a year and they were this large when I got her.

it doesn't seem to be a problem for her she gets around fine and uses the perch in the coop at night. I am very new to this I just started with chickens last year so I am grateful for any advice.

This is Leg Scale Mites. You will need to treat this before it causes permanent lameness. It is very easy to do.....Dip the legs in olive oil and pat dry. Then gently but thoroughly rub vaseline all over these scales. Don't pick them off or anything, but get the vaseline on there good. This will not only smoother the mites, but soften these crusts. Do this every day for several months and this will clear this up.

During this time, clean out the coop, all bedding, nest boxes, corners, everything. Spray with some permethrin spray or some sort of bug spray. Get into the corners of the boxes, the roost bar and especially underneath the bar. The mites love to hide and lay their eggs there. Replace all your bedding. You will need to repeat this in 7 days.

While you are at it, dip everybodies legs in the oil once a week for a couple weeks to make sure none of the other birds have these mites too.

I thought I had this covered when we got the coop I put in Diatomaceous earth, always keep it clean, I use pine shavings and straw. I will get started on her recovery today. Thank you for your help.

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! X3 your girl probably has scaly leg mites, TwoCrows gave you a good way to get rid of them. You might also consider treating her (and maybe your whole flock) with Ivermectin since it sounds like she has had it for awhile.
