i bought two rescue silkies from a meat market and when i brought them home i noticed that their wing feathers are all tattered up so that they cant get even a inch of the ground. I know that silkies cant fly well but can they even get of the ground? Their wing feathers kinda look like they were clipped because they are all cut up. My silkies came from a factory were they lived in tiny cages, so dont think their was really any need to clip the wings to stop flying. If their wings weren't clipped then why else would their wing feathers be all torn of at the ends, do you think it could be caused by overcrowding or something?
