I hate to admit it, but at 10 weeks I still have a night light for the peeps. For one, I hope it discourages predators. But secondly, they really do quiet down quicker with the light
. Reminds me of getting kids to sleep. Getting into a schedule is always a challenge at first. Now the peeps put themselves to bed - maybe a little small chatter and an occasional disagreement about who gets what spot on the roost, but then silence.
