are my ducks sick?

I have two eight day old ducklings.A Cayuga and an Ancona. Both of their legs and feet are peeling.The skin just peels off.They don't seem to be in any pain though.Also they sneeze out boogers more than normal.Is there something wrong with my little ducklings?Should I give them niacin or something?

I think Niacin should be part of a ducklings diet for it's first 12 weeks of life ,but the peeling skin probably doesn't have anything to do with Niacin diff. are they able to bath? I have seen others post about peeling skin on their ducklings and think this must be normal as they grow, as long as their is no redness or swelling probably normal. Now the sneezing, di they have a bowl they can put their whole head in to clean out their nares? they may have feed clogged in there, very important ducklings/ducks have something deep enough to clean eyes and nares out. Is the boogers like drainage or hard? and what kind of bedding are you using?

they had their fist bath two days ago and it seems like this all started after they had their bath.they were fine in the bath and were swimming happily.I have their food in a dish.their water is in one of those half gallon waterers and they stick their head in there all the time.they sneeze out drainage like boogers.i use pine shavings.thank you for your help.

Hmmmm, I am going to make a guess that they've had some dusty crumbly stuff building up in their nares for 7 days or so, and they'll need a few nice warm baths to snoot it all out.

Have you seen the head washers people make for their little ducklings?

Actually i gave them a warm bath this morning and they seem fine now!!Thank you so much for all your help.

They need to be able to wash their precious little heads often, either in a warm bath or with a head washer. Water management is tricky for most of us. But they are waterfowl, and need their water for drinking and washing.
