Are my eggs dead?

I candled my eggs last night and almost all of them seem to have at least a third solid dark inside. I tried taking pics, bu they come out non visible. I see no embryo movement, but just this big dark mass taking up 1/3 of the egg. They are on day 7. From what I have researched there should be clearly visible veins and movement. Some of the eggs I can see the dark "yolk" type mass inside, but when I turn the egg it moves with it. Is this death? Nothing should be moving with the turn of the egg at this point right? We have all mixed breed eggs, with 2 duck eggs. I think one of the ducks is developing, but really I can't tell. They are not in an incubator, but under my 2 hens. They are good Mom's, so what should I be looking for? Almost all the eggs have very defined air sacks though. This is my first time letting my girls hatch eggs, I sure hope at least a few hatch..... ( If I don't see veins and embryo, can I count on them NOT hatching? I got a stronger flashlight so I will re-do it again. Did I kill them from candling them or turning them? Thanks!

Ok. I will give them more time. The ones I really doubt are the ones with what looks like the dark yolk moving with each turn.

I re-did it! There are 10 that are little moving embryos!! 2 of them are the ducks! Yay!!! I'm so happy!!!! The flashlight made all the difference!!! I can't wait to see those little peepers!!!

Yep you gotta make sure you have a good and strong flashlight. glad to hear you have some growing embryos in there, congrats
