Are my eggs fertile??

Hi guys, we gave away our rooster in March and I still see a white spot in our chickens yolk, are they fertilized?? 🤔

No, that white spot is a blastodisc which means the egg has not been fertilized. A fertilized egg will have a blastoderm, which is larger and looks like a white spot with a ring around it (a 'bullseye').

Okay, I’ve seen fertilized eggs and never payed attention to the white spot.
