Are my muscovy duck hens really muscovy duck hens?

And im just wondering, why do you keep calling them "regular" ducks ducks are ducks nomater what breed right?. I know that if you breed muvcovys to a other breed that you get a mule but is there any other diference besides that and carbunkles? If thats what you call it lol. I dont mean to sound rude im sorry just wondering

Caruncles* Muscovys are a totally different species.. Regular ducks IMO are Mallard derived breeds..

**Edited for not knowing proper wording..

Exactly what everyone else has said. They are a different species all their own. And trust me I know regular(mallard derived) ducks are friendly and beautiful and amazing as well. I have 6, but it is different. Though mine are friendly and they eat out of my hands they dont like to be picked up. My muscovy babies however will run ti me and they all jump at my legs to be picked up. I have 17 and they are all very peronable even though mamma raised them. I raised my other ducks inside with me and they are less personable.

They are my favorite ducks now because they are so much different. Again I still LOVE my other ducks as well.

Ok, thanks guys, I was just wondering. I wish I could get ahold of some muscovys but there are very few breeders here and my mom wont ley me lol. If I could redo my duck setup I would have muscovys and Welsh harlequin. But oh well. Thank again.
