I have had an attack here on my ducks. I just KNOW it was the preachers cat. I saw it heading towards the coop a few days ago. Anyhow....my turkeys are in a pen...pretty safe...but can a cat kill my Royal Palms.....20 weeks old?? I need to know what I can do tonight!!

Thanks everyone.....I was willing to camp out a few nights...and for a 45 yr old woman to camp out in the dark...where deer and rabbits grow FANGS after dark....well....lets just say..I LOVE my turkeys. I have GOT to get DH busy building that bigger coop! MAYBE I will be able to sleep tonight....we will see.

Well.....I had everyone in lockdown last night...so I get up early to let them out....as I walked towards the coop areas...I see my turkey hen, Eve....is out of her enclosure, and in the RIR run. My heart stopped I swear!! I froze...not wanting to see what I woke up to yesterday with the ducks. I just couldnt stand loseing my tom....Adam. So, I get the courage to start walking again...praying Adam is ok...Eve greets me...with her little chirping...I round the corner, and there he is. Adam...paceing thier enclosure...wondering HOW DID EVE GET IN THERE!! Why wont she come to me!?? LOL All is safe and happy. Eve is now back with Adam, and all is well.....today.

Thanks Miriam...They are our very FIRST turkeys...and I told DH... well, we have to name em..now, this coming from a "poultry hater" ( when anyone else is around) He said...well, they are our first turkeys, so Adam and Eve. LOL
He really does like the chickens...the other day we had to put a few frizzles in the rabbit hutch....I walked away, and heard him talking to the babies..." are you guys ok in there? You going to be ok" It wont be for too long, I promise." HAHAHA!!! BUSTED!!
